4th February, 2018 marked the beginning of spring. Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli, Principal Assistant Ling Qian and some teachers carried through the home visiting activity, which brought the news of spring to school and family.
To begin with, President Madam Huang Wenli arrived at student Zhou Zhiming’s house, who was from Class 11, Grade 9 and lived at Yan Jiang Road. Then, Madam President sent small gifts to Zhou Zhiming, held his hands, thoughtfully inquired after his health as well as tried to know about his learning conditions and daily life patiently.
Afterwards, through the personal experience of Zhou Zhiming’s living environment, the school leadership and teachers not only truly felt that the child studied earnestly and his family cared about his school life indeed, but also realized that teachers shouldered heavy responsibilities in that they were supposed to love each child and let them become the best of themselves.
On the other hand, during the family visiting, family members showcased their great enthusiasm and sincerest gratitude, which deeply impressed the teachers in attendance, who expressed one after another that they would adhere to the family visit in the future and enter children’s lives to genuinely understand and care for them.
In conclusion, on the way back, President Madam Huang Wenli stressed that we should continue to carry out the home visiting program, which involved different families and family circumstances and would help us rationally educate different children in the meantime!
